EVALUATION VISIT
JKB Technologies will meet with top management to discuss the long and short-term goals of the company. Key personnel in the company will be placed on an implementation team, which will be the driving force behind the completion of the ISO project. We will tour the facility and review existing processes, procedures, work instructions, forms, and records. From this information a Gap Analysis will be created. The Gap Analysis identifies any non-conformity in the current Quality System and recommends how to bring them into compliance with the ISO 9001:2000 standard.
OVERVIEW OF THE ISO 9001:2000 STANDARD
JKB Technologies will give an ISO 9001:2000 presentation to the Implementation Team and Management. This presentation will show all of the rules and regulations of the ISO standard. It will go over all fifty key characteristics of the new standards and discuss ways to address them. This is an in depth look at the standard that will answer any implementation questions.
CREATION OF THE QUALITY MANUAL
JKB Technologies will write your company's Quality Manual in accordance with ISO 9001:2000 standards. This document will aid in the development of your Quality Management System. This is essentially the foundation for which your entire ISO 9001 system will be based. It will communicate policies, procedures, and requirements. This document also outlines the company's plans and goals for the future.
WRITE THE PROCEDURES
JKB Technologies will help your company create all level two procedures. Procedures will define the work that should be done, and explains how it should be done, who should do it, and under what circumstances. In addition, it explains what authority and what responsibility have been allocated and which supplies and materials should be used.
SELECTION OF REGISTRAR
JKB Technologies will help your company search for a Registrar. We will let your company select from ten accredited Registrars. From these ten we will narrow the search to four based on area of expertise and location. JKB Technologies will complete the proper paperwork so that your company will receive an on-site presentation and quote from each of the four Registrars. It will then be up to your company as to which Registrar best fits your company's needs.
SELECTION OF MANAGEMENT REPRESENTATIVE
JKB Technologies will help your company select a Management Representative. The Management Representative will be responsible for the day to day activities and implementation of your Quality System. This employee will handle all future dealings with the Registrar.
IMPLEMENTATION OF PROCEDURES
JKB Technologies will assist you in implementing all of your company's level two procedures.
TRAINING THE MANAGEMENT REPRESENTATIVE
JKB Technologies will train the Management Representative in all of the ISO 9001:2000 elements. This training will include an in-depth review of Internal Quality Audits and all reporting functions. After completing this training the Management Representative should have a full understanding of all of the responsibilities associated with managing the ISO 9001 system.
CONDUCTING INTERNAL AUDITS
JKB Technologies will train a group of employees on all aspects of Internal Auditing. This training will give your employees the ability to examine the elements of your company's quality system and evaluate how well these elements comply with ISO 9001:2000 requirements.
IMPLEMENTATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTIONS
JKB Technologies will train your employees on the proper methods on defining, issuing, correcting, following up, and closing out Corrective Actions written against your company's quality system.
CONSULTATION DURING THE REGISTRATION AUDIT
JKB technologies will be on-site during the day of your company's registration audit. We will help your company's Management representative answer any questions and help locate any documentation that is requested by the Registrar. This is done to ensure that your company receives ISO 9001 certification.
